Please wear your red, white, and blue or your scout uniform to school tomorrow for our Memorial Day Assembly.
is crazy hair day. A few of the kids asked me to email you all to let you know! Enjoy!
Tomorrow we are scheduled to be the first class to go out to the Outdoor Learning Center and do some planting! We are going to be planting strawberries and possibly some vegetables too. The weather is looking a bit cold and wet. Despite the weather, I’m planning to go out and plant unless it is pouring rain. Please dig out the rain boots or snow boots and send them to school tomorrow so the kids feet don’t get cold and soggy! Also, if they have raincoats, or a warm coat with a hood, or a hat with a brim, etc. please consider sending those as well to keep their clothes and faces dry.
The three Kindergarten classes will be taking our annual Community Helpers Field Trip on Friday, June 3. More details to come.
Save the Date: The annual KM Author’s Breakfast will be at 9:00 on Thursday, June 9. More details to come.
I should have posted the link to the Listserv last night but it was late and I needed to get to sleep! Here is the link you need to follow to sign up for the Sheehan Listserv.Don’t forget to be sure that these emails are not tagged as spam and automatically routed to your spam folder.
I’ve gotten a few emails today about tomorrow and Friday. There is NO SCHOOL Thursday or Friday for current Kindergarten students. The 2011-2012 Kindergarten students will be visiting Sheehan over the next 2 days so the current Kindergarten students do not have school. This information has been noted in the Sheehan School Newsletter every week for at least the past month. I believe, but you should double check because I’m not positive, that if your child attends Tobin or Extended Day that those programs may be open both days.
If you do not receive the newsletter in your email inbox, please be sure that you are signed up on the school’s website for the “List Serve” so that you will receive these and other important information from the school, district, and PTA. Also, please be sure the “List Serve” emails are not ending up in your spam folder.
