April 29 will be a Westwood colors spirit day. Westwood colors are green and white.
The student council is looking for ideas for an Earth Day related service project for the month of April. If you and your child come up with a great idea, email it to me and I will pass it on to the student council
Friday is the deadline to bring in art supplies for the homeless shelter.

It seems as if the beginning of spring has brought with it many stuffed up noses and has left us using our last 2 boxes of tissues! If anyone has an extra box hanging around their house that they could send in we would really appreciate it. We hope these will last us through June and that we won’t need to ask again! Thanks!

On March 6 the school store will be open. Please remember to send any money to school in your child’s VIP in a zip top baggie labeled with your child’s name and “school store”.
The March student council service project will be collecting arts and craft supplies for Horizons for Homeless Children. Please see the list of needed items that came home in VIP’s.
There are 3 early release Wednesdays this month, the 4th, the 11th, and the 25th.
Conferences start March 25th. Please be sure to return your time confirmation to me as soon as possible. Also, be looking for the pre-conference questionnaire to come home this week. I would really appreciate it if you could get them back to me at least a week before your scheduled conference.
